Struttin'

I am told that I came from a place called The Animal Welfare Society in W. Kennebunk, ME.  I don't remember much about my time there, only what I'm told.  My mama works there and my papa spends lots of time there helping the other animals that are waiting for a new family.  They have a special fund called the Sadie Fund and they use money from that fund to help animals that come to the shelter needing special medical attention.  Every year they have a BIG doggie party at the beach to raise money for this special fund.  Last year I went with my foster mom, Auntie Jocelyn because my mama and papa were on vay-k-shun.  This year my mama was working at the event but my papa dressed up special, because it was 9/11, and took me with him to the event.  I think we were a super duper patriotic couple.
I kind of thought we would be voted "Best Patriotic Couple" but someone else won instead.  That's okay, they looked pretty good, too.  My goal was to be the "Face of the Strut" next year and my picture would be on all the flyers and I would be FAMOUS, but I wasn't quite proactive enough and didn't get a good up-close photo taken.  That is something we will work on next year.

Time to PAR-T

WOW!  I never knew birthdays were so much fun.  Ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh.

First, I got a new squeaky tennis ball a couple of days ago as an early present.  I love a squeaky tennis ball!  I loved it so much, I already broke the squeaky out of it.  Today I got a new Kong toy.  It's just like my old one but new-er.  The squeaker works and my teeth don't get stuck in the Kong!  This is my favorite toy to have my papa throw in the yard for me to chase.

I told you that my mama was cooking for my birthday.  She had enough batter to make cup-caks and a small cake.
Cake and cup-caks before the frosting
My special cup-cak with NO frosting & the people ones all frosted
My cup-cak, a goofy hat and my special ice cream
I was very excited about the fun things to eat but not so interested in wearing a hat.  Auntie Jocelyn doesn't really take "no" for an answer.

They even put fire on my candles and every time my mama blew them out, the fire came right back.  They were MAGIC candles.
The magic candles
I wasted no time eating my cup-cak because I thought they might change their minds and take it back.  I took the whole thing in my mouth and ran into the other room.  Then I sat patiently waiting for my ice cream.
I am focused!
What a fun, fun, fun couple of days.  I'm really looking forward to next year when I turn 3.  I hope E-thun and Auntie Jocelyn can celebrate with us again.
E-thun isn't too sure about having his picture taken with me
My mama, papa and me all wearing a stupid hat
(Just ignore all that stuff in the background and focus on us!)

I hope you have a birthday coming up soon.

Gimme a TWO!

You might ask yourself..."I wonder why Titan wants a two, hmmm".  Because (drum roll, please)

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

Yeah, that's right, I'm TWO already.  Can you believe it?  That's twice as old as I was last year.  I don't really understand how that works but my mama and papa said today we are celebrating my BIRTHDAY!  They said I get PRESENTS!  My papa took me shopping all the way to Portland and I got this really cool new collar.

Me and my cool new collar
Isn't it b-u-t-ful?  It's real leather and I think it's bedazzled in a very understated masculine way.  What do you think?

That's not all!!!  There's more!!!  My Auntie Jocelyn and her boyfriend E-thun are coming over for dinner tomorrow and I get more PRESENTS.  My mama is even baking something she calls cup-caks and I get to have my very OWN.   I don't know what a cup-cak is but it must be extra special if my mama is cooking it (she doesn't cook much) and it's just for me to celebrate my BIRTHDAY.

I don't understand what a birthday is, but I know it's a lot of fun and did I mention...I get PRESENTS.

In case you didn't get enough earlier, here's another picture of me in my b-u-t-ful collar.

Shopping makes me tired

Ahhh, I'm a lucky dog.  And I'm TWO!
