I Am This Many

Today's my birthday.  Happy Birthday To Me!!!

I'm gonna tell you all about my day, my special day.  It started with a nice walk with my mama.  We didn't see any other dogs except the one that rode by in a truck with his/her head sticking out the winder and making lots of barking noises at me.  I'm not fond of dogs but I don't.do.that!

Next, I got to enjoy a little "me" time while mama and papa ran errands.  They didn't really run, they took the RAV.  

Next was the biggest surprise in my whole life.  They came home with some good smelling things in a bag.

Do you see that??? Along with a new kong and a new stuffie...it's a hamburger.  I real fast food/junk food hamburger.

I didn't gobble it down like some dogs do, I savored it for three long minutes.  Then I gave my new bunny some lovin'.

I spent time supervising my papa while he moved wood into the new shed.

The bucket with the wheel is empty, you know.

I watched over my mama while she worked in the garden.

I took a nap because being three and doing so much celebrating made me tired.

I went into the back yard, past the fence, where I checked to be sure it was safe for my mama while she dumped her garden trimmings onto the compost pile.

I don't smell anything to be afraid of.

I don't see anything to be afraid of.

I played hide and seek even though mama didn't know we were playing.

I'm hiding, can you see me?

I did zoomies and took another nap.

After dinner there was ANOTHER surprise!  I got dessert!!!

I.Love.My.Kong.Toy

I am focused and waiting patiently for my toy

There is NO toy better than my kong toy.  It's a b-u-t-ful red with bright blue tassles.

I heart this toy.  I love it when my mama or papa throw it far away...

I only enjoy chasing it ONCE, then I want to play tug but they don't like to play tug with me because I don't like to lose and I never let go.  

Did you know that red is one of the colors that dogs can see?  Maybe that's why I love it so much.  Hmmm, I will have to ponder that.

Stylin'

Yeah, I'm lookin' good and I know it.  I'm learning to wear my sunglasses.  It's slow going but we're making progress.  My mama and papa want me to wear them in Floor-i-duh because it's so bright there when we go for our walks.

Please excuse the food on my nose ;o(

They are a little loose because I'm learning to like them and there is a head strap that should help them stay out of my eyes but we haven't gotten that far yet.  It takes a lot of tasty treats to get my nose through the chin strap and a few more to keep it there.  The slower I learn the more treats I get and my mama hasn't figured that out yet.  Duh!
