Last month my mama noticed a "not quite right" area behind my upper front teeth while we were playing on the floor. It's one of those things that mamas and papas want to have checked out...just.in.case.
Today I went to visit the Dr. Vet lady. I'm not the kind of guy that likes having people messing around with my mouth, so I wasn't very coo-op-er-uh-tiv (which my mama told them and they chose to disregard). Therefore, the Dr. Vet lady didn't get a very good look at it but she feels it's a tumor that will have to be removed.
Dogs like me tend to have a lot of extra gum tissue that sometimes grows over their teeth and my mama and papa were hoping that was the problem. I guess not.
Sooo, in a couple of weeks, I'm going back to the Dr. Vet lady. It's one of those places where you go in feeling very spunky but you come out feeling very punky. She is going to give me medicines to make me sleep so she can take pictures of my mouth and something called a bi-op-see. If this tumor thingy isn't any big deal, she will take it away but I will probably lose some of my pearly whites, too.
If she feels it's something more complicated, I'll wake up with all my teeths but I'll have to visit a specialist.
Sooooo, give me some thoughts if you will and send positive energies my way. I have a lot of Floor-i-duh sunshines I still need to soak up.
Until next time...Sir Titan of Nottingham CGC TT
