Me and My Mama Selfie

I really hate seeing the pit-chur taking thing-a-ma-bob come out but sometimes my mama takes a good pit-chur of the two of us.  I never make it easy for her, tho!

Bank Treats and a Walk in the Park

Although I'm stuck sitting in the back seat, I can still see the bank lady and I know there's a treat coming my way.

From the bank we took a nice walk through the Linear Park.To be honest, we take this walk almost every day and I still find good things to smell.  There's always lots of pee-mail.  hahaha..doggie humor.  Sometimes we even see the alley-gat-er.

My Crusty Nose

I personally don't mind what my nose looks like but my mama and papa don't like it when it gets what they call "crusty".  I don't see it but, whatever...

My Auntie Wendy makes a wonderful product called a Beedandy lotion bar, which you can purchase for yourself here on her website.  It's made for people, but because it's all natural, it's safe to use on my nose.  However, I hate having it slathered on my nose, but I do get treats, which almost makes it worth it.  After just a couple of days, my nose it soft as a baby's butt, which I assume is super soft cause otherwise, what's the point?

It looks yucky at first but then it gets ub-zorb-duh and disappears.

Funday, Sunday

I enjoy the way the Floor-i-duh sunshine warms me from the outside in, while I wait for my mama and papa to finally get ready for our morning walk.

Most afternoons, my mama and papa go to the gym, then come home and have iced coffees on the deck while I enjoy a frozen treat.  Generally, before dinner, my mama takes me down into the yard and tosses my favorite Kong around till I get tired.
Sometimes, when she gets a bee in her bonnet, we sit on the dock for a few minutes waiting for fishes to jump out of the water.  She almost always tries to take a photo or two but I rarely comply.
Take the picture already...
Admittedly, I am handsome!

A Little of This, A Little of That

We had a nice walk today along the Linear Path, all the way to the parking garage.  Papa went to the new coffee shop and got coffees and pastries for him and mama.  I was waiting patiently, not knowing what pastries are but thinking I might score a bite, being my good self when along comes a little dog, walking it's people.  Well...I lost my shit and embarrassed MY people.  I've got no excuses, It happens sometimes...

On another note, my mama says I'm getting a little more gray hairs on my chinny chin chin.  Well...I'm like going on ten and I don't have someone covering up my gray every month like someone I know who shall remain unnamed.  Just sayin'

Ear, Ear

My mama says the only time my ear sticks up like this, is when I'm sleeping.

Seriously?!

First...let me set the scene.  We are on our walk from downtown Punta Gorda to the hospital.  The area is 95% grass, 4% sidewalk and 1% dead palm frond.  Said named frond is where I chose to do my duty on this bright, sunny morning.
Now, while I was very proud of myself and quite relieved, my mama was not so impressed.  I thought maybe a "good boy", "well done", "nice job" or possibly a tasty treat was in order but what do I get from my mama?  "Are you kidding me?" "I'm taking a picture of that and sending it to Auntie Wendy."  and she did.  Gross.

Instead of being impressed by the fact that l) I can't see what I'm doing, since it's at the south end of a northbound body 2) I have no idea of the speed at which it will exit 3) nor do I know at what angle it will depart...it is placed perfectly in the center of aforementioned dead palm frond.

Instead, she says..."How am I supposed to pick that up?"

Technically, that's not my job, so I think it was a ree-tor-ick-ul question, but I have no doubt that she will figure something out, she always does.
