There's a Squirrel in My Tree

and it's driving me crazy.

I'll just hang out here and pretend I'm not looking.
It is my responsibility to protect my people and I will not rest until I remove this vermin from my kingdom!

I Love Toys

My mama says I'm worse than a child when it comes to toys.  I like to leave mine all over the house in case I feel like playing when I'm moving from one room to the other.  She says it would help if I could learn to put them away but I don't see that happening, do you.

She and my papa went to the Gallery Walk the other night and all I got was a dumb toy was this incredible new stuffie.  It only cost $3!  They said that's a real bargain, since I usually kill them in a matter of minutes anyway.
It's a fish!  A purple, tropical fish!  And it came with an all natural treat!
The stuffie is really soft and fluffy and feels kind of funny in my mouth and I like it.

I have been playing with my new stuffie for three days now and I haven't killed it and pulled out all the "guts" yet but it's probably just a matter of time.

However, the "all natural treat"...ugh.  I mean really, why would anyone think a dog wants to eat "all natural" anyway.  It tasted like cardboard and I refused to eat all of it.  My mama says I'm spoiled, whatever that means.

My Doggie Friend

Because most of my toys end up under the couch, sometimes I find new toys under the couch.  That's where I found my new doggie friend.  Her name is Miss PINK.  She's very sexy but rather than bore you with a lot of words, I'll let pictures tell our story.
Well,hello beautiful!
lick, lick, kiss, kiss
Miss PINK is feisty
A little tail
What do you mean "I play too ruff"?
Miss PINK has lost her head over me

Hmmmm, you could be right
It's what's on the inside that's important

Uh, oh...I miss her already

I Was Almost Perfect

Almost, but not quite.  Look at this picture and tell me if you can see the little dog walking in front of us.  It's small and it's far away, so look really close.
See it?  That little dark spot in the middle of the picture?  That's another dog and it's walking right in front of me.  I was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!  I didn't tug, or pull or feel the need to pee on every.single.thing it had walked by or touched.  Then IT happened...that dog stopped to poop and we couldn't help but catch up to it even though we were walking really, really slow.  We couldn't even cross the street because there isn't any sidewalk on the other side.  I was doing such a good job but once I could look it in the eyes, I wanted to run over and say "Hi. I've been following you.  Did you see me?  What's your name?  Want to play?"  I was so anxious to introduce myself that I pushed and pulled and nearly knocked my mama over.  She isn't much of a pushover but I did manage to get in front of her, only to be stopped short by my papa.

That dog was little but kind of scary; it snarled at me.  Okay, I wasn't being very polite (I've been told I'm a rude greeter, whatever that means) but it hurt my feelings.  My mama and papa just kept walking and dragging me along.   My mama was MAD!  I can tell because she walks very fast, holds my leach very short and doesn't say nice things to me or about me.  She gets mad because she says I make us all look bad (I still think I'm lookin' good, but I digress) and people will think I'm a mean dog.  Being a "pit bull" type dog and all, it's about appearances and they say I represent all the other "pit bull" type dogs so it's important that I behave myself.  Whatever...

Road Trip

As I mentioned in my last post, we came back to FL.  It was a three day trip in the car and I did my best to keep my mama and papa headed in the right direction.
Turn left, then turn right.  Stop sign...STOP SIGN!!!
Backseat driving gets kind of boring after three days minutes, so I give them a break and give myself a little nap.
I love riding in the car. zzzzzzzzzz
Every time I stretched, I moved a little closer to the front seat.  I figure, if we had been on the road another day or two, I would have moved into the front seat and my mama would have been curled up in the backseat.
Whaaaat?  I'm just stretching.
I'm happy to report that we are all settled in our Floor-i-duh house and looking forward to lots of ad-ven-churs.

On the Road Again

At first it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here
Seriously?  This is embarrassing!
but now it looks a lot like traveling.  You know what I mean...big boxes full of the clothes that usually hang in the closet, those leftovers in the fridge that might find their way into my bowl found their way into the trash, "noooooooo".  All kinds of weird things that make me nervous, so I follow my mama around, then I follow my papa, then my mama again.

It turns out that tomorrow, cause it's gonna get really cold here, we are getting in the car and going to Floor-i-duh again.  My mama says we have been planning on leaving tomorrow for a while now, not just because it's gonna be cold.  It's just a co-in-sid-ens, whatever that is.

We won't be blog-ing until we get settled so here are some pictures of me in Floor-i-duh last year because my mama says a post is bore-ing without pictures.

My ottoman (sshhh, it's not really mine but I like lying on it.)
Looking through the fence at the Peace River (this is on our walk)

I can see birds!

Enjoying a nap on "my ottoman" after a long walk
 I just remembered...I Luv Floor-i-duh!
