I Have a Routine

When my mama takes me into the yard in the late afternoon, I have my own way of doing things.  First of all, I like to play with my kong toy.  My mama throws it and I go get it, but I don't always bring it back.  Sometimes I make her chase me to get it back because exercise is important for everyone.

When I'm done chasing my kong, I like to just sit and relax and see if there's anything interesting going on.

My mama always thinks I look so regal when I'm paying attention, even if I'm not paying attention to her.  hahaha

I like to roll around and cover myself with dried grass and dirt and let out some funny growls before jumping up and shaking off.

The past few years, instead of putting out the white flags and electric fence, my mama just puts a 30' long leash on me.  I know where the fence used to be and I don't ever go beyond that area, even without the flags.  The leash is just a precaution, in the event I forget myself and I'm distracted by something outside my approved area.
